The Department of Tourism (DOT) has launched t “Pilipinas, Tara Na!” music video featuring the country’s numerous tourist attractions, recorded by 57 of the country’s leading musical artists and entertainment personalities.

*Note: In 2004, 21 artists have signed up in support of domestic tourism. This time around, we have 57 artists who lent their talent and likeness without remuneration. Para sa bayan.

 

Last Year if you can remember less than 24 hours after “Pilipinas kay Ganda” was previewed (it was not yet the launching, Tourism Secretary Alberto Lim stressed) the accompanying site - www.beautifulpilipinas.com -was taken down because they found out that there’s an existing porn website also using the key words “beautifulpilipinas.”

Meanwhile, here's the controversial but not so popular logo of Tourism Campaign. They said it was just copied with polish Tourism campaign logo.
