Gwendoline Ruais won the The Miss World Philippines 2011 held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City on Sunday, September 18, 2011 and aired live on GMA-7. Gwendoline wins PhP 1 million cash tax-free, a brand new SMDC condominium unit, GMA management contract, and a chance to represent the country in the Miss World 2011. Gwendoline bested the other 24 contestants and will represent the country in Miss World 2011 pageant in London in November.
