DFA authentication services set to transfer on Nov 13; no authentication services Nov 12

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) wishes to inform the public that the Authentication Division, currently located at the DFA main building in Pasay City, will be relocating to the Office of Consular Affairs (OCA) Building along Macapagal Avenue, ParaƱaque City on Tuesday, November 13.

In connection with the transfer of the Authentication Division to its new location, the public is advised that:

1. processing of documents would be temporarily unavailable for the whole day of 12 November 2012, to give way for the transfer;

2. expedited documents processed on 09 November 2012 and regular documents processed on 06 November 2012 shall be released on the afternoon of 12 November 2012 at OCA building in Macapagal Avenue; and

3. normal operations of the Authentication Division at its new location will resume on Tuesday, 13 November 2012.

Applicants for authentication services are advised to proceed to Gate 2 of OCA building in Macapagal Avenue where the Authentication Division will commence its operations beginning 13 November 2012.

The transfer of the Authentication Division to the DFA-OCA building is being done to centralize the consular functions of the Department for the convenience of the public who wish to avail of authentication and passport services simultaneously.

Applicants who still wish to have their documents authenticated are advised to proceed to the Authentication Section of the DFA’s satellite offices in Metro Manila, namely, DFA NCR East (SM Megamall) and DFA NCR West (SM City, Manila) where the following authentication services are also available:

1. NBI, Police and Barangay Clearances;

2. NSO issued documents except Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR);

3. Affidavits of Employment, Trainings, Seminars and Baptismal Certificates;

4. Other Notarized Documents;

5. DOH Documents;

6. PRC Documents;

7. LTO Documents; and

8. Foreign documents authenticated by our Philippine Embassy/Consulate abroad or documents authenticated by Foreign Embassies/Consulates based in the Philippines.
