"The Voice of the Philippines" will soon kick off its highly anticipated "Battle Rounds" as tweeted by one of the coach/judge, Ms. Lea Salonga.

In this stage, the four superstar-coaches will have to trim down the number of members on their respective teams by pairing them up in a singing showdown. The artist in each "battle" who impresses their coach will continue on to join the live performance phase of the competition.

Coach Lea Salonga, on her Twitter page, revealed that the Battle Rounds will start airing on July 28. And she promised, "Iba na ang suot."
