American recording artist, record producer, dancer, and actress Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas will sing the Philippine national anthem in the rematch of Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley at MGM Grand Las Vegas in Nevada on April 12, Pacquiao announced on his Twitter account.
In my opinion Rachelle Anne Go should have been a good choice to sing the National Anthem as she will be carrying our flag at the upcoming re-staging of Miss Saigon 2014.
Meanwhile, Liam Neeson and Mark Wahlberg may be among the biggest names in Hollywood action movies, but when it comes to “real action stars” both celebrities admit to being fans of Filipino Boxing Champion Manny Pacquiao.
Neeson who narrates the documentary “Manny” says he has been a fan of Pacquiao “for many, many years.”

Jessica Sanchez will once again sing the Philippine National Anthem at the rematch of Filipino boxing Champ Manny Pacquiao against American boxer Timothy Bradley at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 13 (Manila time).
This will be the third time the “American Idol” season 11 runner-up will perform at aPacquiao fight. The first time happened when she belted out the U.S. National Anthem in 2012 at the first Pacquiao-Bradley match. In November last year, the Pinay-American singer sang both “Lupang Hinirang” and “The Star Spangled Banner” in Pacquiao's fight against Mexican boxer Brandon Rios in Macau.
