Why Did I Switched to DITO Telecommunity from being a Globe Sim User

I have been a Globe Sim Prepaid User since I went home from being an OFW since 2015. And even until now since my mobile unit has a dual sim capability I still kept my Globe Sim since I am still receiving some messages and call as it was my registered mobile number for most of my government issued ID's and some online social account.

However in 2020, I decided to buy a DITO Sim since I am also a gamer and experiencing some lag with Globe Prepaid Data. I have long stopped in playing Mobile Legends due to lag issue and the moment I switched to DITO Prepaid Sim, I was able to play MLBB again seamlessly. I am actually staying in Valenzuela Metro Manila in Condominium's lower ground. Even in our office in Meycauayan City, Bulacan the DITO Signal is better than  Globe.

Maybe in some other cities Globe has better signal since it was already established than DITO. But for the places I have been, it seems that DITO has a better signal and literally and figuratively a game changer.

By the way, there's already a Mobile Number Portability Act in the Philippines. Mobile Number Portability (MNP) is a global practice that enables a mobile phone customer to keep their number even when they switch networks or change their subscription from postpaid to prepaid and vice versa, free of charge. This is in compliance with RA 11202 (Mobile Number Portability Act), as part of DITO’s commitment with the government to help improve telco services in the Philippines.

But I still commend Globe for their GCash app which turn our mobile phone into a virtual wallet. Using the GCash app, you can pay for items and send money at the speed of a text message. GCash make your everyday payments safe & easy. You can create an account to start enjoying cashless transactions with the Philippines’ leading e-wallet! Now available for all networks.
