According to PAGASA, Typhoon Betty Officially entered PAR and some schools and organizations earlier announced suspension of works and classes in their region.
Kaninang 2:00 AM ay ganap ng nakapasok sa Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) ang Super Typhoon ‘Mawar’ na ngayon ay tatawagin ng #BettyPH.
Ang sentro ng bagyo ay namataan sa layong 1,320km ng silangang bahagi ng Central Luzon na may taglay na lakas na 195km/h at bugsong aabot sa 240km/h.
Pinapaalalahanan po ang lahat na maging alerto sa magiging epekto ng Super Typhoon Betty sa mga susunod na araw.
"As preemptive measure in order to ensure the safety and welfare of our students from weather disturbance caused by Southwest Monsoon intensified by anticipated Super Typhoon Betty, classes and all school-related activities in Marikina City in ALL LEVELS both in PUBLIC and PRIVATE schools are hereby suspended on Friday (May 26, 2023) and Saturday (May 27, 2023), according to AL TV News.
All NSTP and other related activities on Sunday (May 28, 2023) are likewise suspended."
