Japan's men volleyball team Ryujin Nippon lead by trio Yuki Ishikawa, Ran Takahashi and Yuji Nishida is scheduled to face Philippine team Alas Pilipinas in a friendly match on June 15 at the PhilSports Arena as part of the pre-tournament match before the Manila Leg of the Volleyball Nations League (VNL). Japan jumped to rank no. 3 in the world ufter beating Argentina in VNL Cup 2024.
