American swimmer Michael Phelps has become the first athlete ever to win eight gold medals in one Games, beating a 36-year old record by Mark Spitz. Phelps is no doubt the one to watch for in the 2012 London Olympics Swimming competition. Reports says he will be swimming for seven golds compare to eight in his last olympi outings in Beijing.
