Jia is one of the six Filipina applicants for the Korean V-League Asian Quota. The draft for KVL will be held on April 21 and knowing Jia's Professional volleyball profile, I believe she will be drafted among other 32 Asian hopefuls. It's now Jia's turn to be known in the International Volleyball scene. Jia is considered the best setter in the Philippines right now. Her demeanor on the court as one of the humble players made her a household name.
Korean Volleyball League is reported to start mid of this year, just after the SEA Games in Cambodia. Jia and Alyssa have been an unbeatable tandem on the court with numerous Championship trophies on their belt.
Jia and Aly will still be team-nmates on the SEA Games, however if Jia will pursue her career in Korea then she may not be able to play in the PVL since the contract for those who will drafted according to the report is $100,000 dollars for a year.
Jia is currently the front runner for the Best Setter award in the PVL 2023 All Filipino Conference. She is also currently leading the Best Server in the tally which might give her the chance to take another Season's MVP award.
