A magnitude-3.9 aftershock hits Negros Occidental early Saturday-August 6, 2011, with state seismologists saying it was one of at least 450 aftershocks of a magnitude-6.2 quake in the area last July.
According to the report from GMANews aan initial bulletin by Phivolcs said the tremor was recorded at 7:47 a.m., with the epicenter at 67 km southwest of Cauayan City in Negros Occidental.
It was felt at Intensity III in Sipalay, Negros Occidental; and at Intensity II in Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental.
