The Philippine Dragon Boat Team arrives home. The team’s flight arrived at around 4 a.m.
The team is expected to meet with President Benigno Aquino III in Malacañang at 1 p.m., according to a separate report on dzRH radio.
The Philippine dragon boat team won five gold medals and two silver medals as they dominated five rowing events and set two new world records, besting countries such as Australia, Hungary, Italy, Trinidad and Tobago.
