Philippine Volcanoes defeated Thailand and proven their superiority with their rival, 22-0 to take 7th Finished at the 2011 Shanghai Sevens. Earlier the Philippine Volcanoes beat the defending champion and ranked No.1 Team- Korea 19, 14 however they losses to Kazakhstan 12, 5 and to China in the semi-finals 24-10.
