Philippines beat UAE 26 to 7! The Philippine Volcanoes will next face Korea on the same day at 5:00 pm.-August 27, 2011. Philippines is in Team A together with Korea and UAE.

Philippines is currently Ranked No. 5 in Asia ahead of  Sri Lanka, Thailand and Malaysia. I hope that the Volcanoes will keep the winning spirit and bring it to the next game against Korea!

As the first stop in the HSBC Asian Sevens Series, the Shanghai Sevens will host the top 12 sides from across the continent including hosts China along with Hong Kong, Japan and two time defending champions Korea. The tournament will also welcome the top 4 women’s teams, aiming to renew their battles from last winter’s Asian Games.
