NEWS UPDATE: Don Allado was banned for 1 conference at the PBA.
Don Allado was meted a one-conference ban from the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) for his Twitter rant against the league on Wednesday.
Aside from the ban, the PBA management ordered him to pay P500,000 for his errant tweets.
The league said the fine will be divided as follows: P300,000 to the players' educational trust fund and P200,000 to a charitable institution of his choice.
