Here's the Velodrome 2012 London Olympic Venue for Cycling!
The brand new BMX Track is located next to the Velodrome in the north of the Olympic Park.
The men’s track is 450m long and the women’s is 440m long. The entire venue covers a total area of 160m by 90m, slightly larger than the size of a football pitch.
Following the 2012 Games the building will remain in place, with access for the local community, elite athletes and clubs guaranteed. To increase the uses of the Velodrome and BMX track that will be used in the Olympics, a road cycling circuit and mountain bike track will be constructed after the Games are completed.
