Philippine National Basketball Team appeared in Malacanang for a courtesy call with President Benigno Aquino (PNoy) on August 30, 2012 after winning the 2012 William Jones Cup Championship Trophy and beating the USA at their last outing on the tournament to take gold on August 26, their fist title after 14 years on the tournament.
