The 2012–13 PBA season will be the 38th season of the Philippine Basketball Association. The season will formally open on September 30, 2012, and expected to finish around August 2013. The season will continue to use the three-conference format, starting with the Philippine Cup, or the traditional All-Filipino Conference. The mid season Commissioner's Cup will continue to feature unlimited height limit for imports. The last conference of the season, the Governors Cup will have imports with a 6'5" height limit.
Some Teams already announced their muses such as ABS-CBN, host-actress, Anne Curtis for San Mig Coffee while Mutya ng Pilipinas 2012 Camille Guevara and Miss Earth 2012 Stephany Stefanowitz will be the muses of Air 21 and Rain or Shine, respectively. The female finalists of TV5′s Artisa Academy — Chanel Morales, Julia Quisumbing, Nicole Estrada, Shaira Mae, Sophie Albert, Stephanie Rowe, Malak So Shdifat and Marvelous Alejo — will provide glamour for Meralco during the parade.
Alice Dixson will be back as a muse in the PBA 25 years after she first graced the league’s opening rites. The Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters have tapped the 43-year-old Dixson, who made a strong television comeback last year to star in TV5′s “Babaeng Hampaslupa,” to be their muse for next Sunday’s opening ceremonies.
Georgina Wilson will serve as muse for Barangay Ginebra San Miguel while Isabelle Daza will parade for the Petron Blaze Boosters.
