Philippines will surely meet Iran on the Semi-Final round if they beat Chinese Taipei on the quartefinal round, tomorrow and then go for the Championship against either, Lebanon, China or Japan if they beat Iran.

The SMART-Gilas Pilipinas beat Chinese Taipei, 75-68, in the quarterfinals of the FIBA Asia Cup Thursday in Tokyo, Japan. The first 3 quarters seems like a solid game for both teams not until the fourth quarter where the Smart Gilas opened with a 17-4 assault capped by a corner three-pointer by Gary David to take a 71-57 lead with 3:51 left in the game. Smart Gilas will then face Iran in the Semi-Final round of the 2012 FIBA Asia Cup.
