Congratulations to Philippine Dragon Boat Team wins six gold medals in Milan World Competition 2012!
It was a day of pride, cheers and jubilation for hundreds of Filipinos residing in Milan and other parts of Northern Italy on Sunday, September 2, as they watched the Philippine Dragon Boat Team bested other nations in the grand finals.
At the end of the world competition, the Philippine team garnered six gold medals and one silver in the seven competitions they were part of.
The Philippine Consulate General in Milan, led by Consul General Lourdes S. Tabamo, and various Filipino communities were at the competition sites daily to bring food and give moral support to the Philippine team.
