Some 2,500 people on Saturday attended the last Triduum Mass before the canonization of Blessed Pedro Calungsod, the biggest crowd so far, the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines said early Sunday.
In a post on its news site, the CBCP said security team member Joseph Cariaga estimated some 2,500 packed the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore Saturday morning (Rome time) according to GMA News report.
