Catch Lea Salonga at Ragtime Concert 2013.
Pinoy pride and Tony Award winners Lea Salonga and Tyne Dalyand and Tony nominee Norm Lewis will star in a concert performance of Ragtime at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall. Helmed by Bare director Stafford Arima, the concert will take place on February 18, 2013. Additional casting will be announced shortly acoording to the report from brodway.com.
Miss Saigon will be having a revival on 2013 and will conduct an audition here in Manila. Miss Saigon is a musical by Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil, with lyrics by Boublil and Richard Maltby, Jr. It is based on Giacomo Puccini's opera Madame Butterfly, and similarly tells the tragic tale of a doomed romance involving an Asian woman abandoned by her American lover.
