Ricky Hatton's long-awaited comeback against Vyacheslav Senchenko at the Manchester Arena ended in bitter disappointment in front of a sell-out crowd losing by split decision

According to the report from Sun.co.uk, the Hitman was counted out after nine gruelling rounds against Vyacheslav Senchenko and cried as he left the ring.

Less than an hour later, he called an end to his career.

Hatton, 34, said: “I am absolutely heartbroken — but I am not putting my family through this ever again.

“I’ve put my body through hell to get back. I’ve lost more than four stone but it’s another defeat. I’m gutted.”
