Typhoon Quinta Update- December 26, 2012

Here's Typhoon Quinta Update- December 26, 2012- Wednesday.

Meanwhile according to weather bureau PAGASA on December 25, at 07:00 p.m. today, 25 December 2012, the center of Tropical Storm "QUINTA" was estimated at 40 km South Southeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (10.6°N, 125.9°E).

Tropical Storm "QUINTA" has intensified further as it continues to move towards Eastern Visayas.

Estimated rainfall amount is from 10 to 20 mm per hour (heavy - intense) within the 350 km diameter of the storm.

Residents living in low lying and mountainous areas under public storm warning signal #2 and #1 are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides. Likewise, those living in coastal areas under public storm warning signal #2 are alerted against big waves or storm surges generated by this tropical cyclone.



Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised not to venture out into the seaboards of Luzon and over the eastern seaboard of Visayas and Mindanao.
