According to the report the suspension covers “all private and public schools in Davao City,” according to the city government.

Flash floods caused by heavy rains over the weekend forced the city government of Davao to declare suspension of classes on Monday, January 21, 2013.

“On the basis of the PAGASA 24-hour Public Weather Forecast issued at 5am on January 20, 2013, all classes are SUSPENDED tomorrow, January 21, Monday from KINDERGARTEN to HIGH SCHOOL in Davao City. Thank you. #walangpasok,” the Davao LGU posted on its Facebook page Sunday.
