PHL Embassy Consular outreach in Jubail and Al-Khobar on December 2012.

The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh conducted two consular outreach missions in December 2012, bringing its consular outreach missions in 2012 to a total of 24, with 18 missions in Al-Khobar.

The first outreach mission was to Jubail on December 5-7, and the second was in Al-Khobar on December 13-14.

The two consular outreach missions served over 1,400 passport applicants, and extended other consular services.

In Jubail, the team led by Consul Mohd. Noordin Lomondot was able to encode 845 e-passport applications, as well as notarials and authentications, registrations of birth, and emergency passports extension. Due to inclement weather and the lack of an appointment system, there was an overflow of applicants beyond the capacity of the team which endeavored to receive all applicants even beyond its 600-applicant limit.

In Al-Khobar, the consular team led by Consul Roussel R. Reyes encoded 411 e-passport applications and performed other consular services.
