A Chinese Restaurant in Biejing does not accept Filipino, Japanese and Vietnamese customers.

According to AFP report, The Beijing Snacks restaurant near the Forbidden City, a popular tourist spot, has posted a sign on its door reading “This shop does not receive the Japanese, the Philippines, the Vietnamese and dog(s).”

Foreign Affairs spokesman Raul Hernandez said the Philippines, however, is hoping that such act is not sanctioned by the Chinese government.

Meanwhile, according to Radio Free Asia report, Vietnamese are Angry Over Beijing Restaurant Racism.

China is currently embroiled in territorial disputes with Japan over islands in the East China Sea, and with the Philippines and Vietnam over islands in the South China Sea. Tensions with Japan over the disputes boiled over into a wave of anti-Japanese protests in Chinese cities last fall.
