NCR leads GOld Medal Standings at 2013 Palarong Pambansa.

NCR is leading in this year’s Palarong Pambansa being held in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, garnering 32 gold medals, 20 silver and 11 bronze as of Wednesday, April 24.

Mejia topped the secondary boys’ 400m hurdles in 55.3 seconds; Avila ruled the secondary girls’ 400m hurdles in 1:04.3 and Gervacio bagged the elementary boys’ 400m hurdles in 1:02.4.
Erwin Parcon of Pototan, Iloilo broke the record in the 5000M run this morning. This 17-year old barefoot runner from Western Visayas pulled at the last lap of the run and finished with an amazing time of 15.58 min. in the 5K event. (Palarong Pambansa Day 4, April 25, 2013).
