Pinoy pride, Rey Boom Boom Bautista loses to Jose Ramirez via split decision. Jose Ramirez beat 26 year old Rey Bautista and give his third loss in 37 fights.
Bautista, who holds a 34-win (including 25 knockouts), zero-draw and two-loss card, said he has long prepared for the fight. He had been training for a supposed December fight last year that did not materialize.
Two jury scoring 114-111 in favor of Ramirez and one turn Bautista favored to score 111-114.
Because of this, Jesus Ramirez brought home the World Boxiong Organization (WBO) international featherweight title.
