Good News to all Public Teachers, report says that Teachers are set to received performance-based bonus starting next week.
Almost 410,000 public school teachers can expect to receive their performance-based bonus next week, an official of the Department of Education (DepEd) said yesterday.
Education assistant secretary Jesus Mateo said they submitted the requirements for the bonus of 145 of the 195 DepEd division offices to the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) last Friday.
There are about 540,000 public school teachers nationwide, according to Mateo. The requirements submitted by the 50 remaining DepEd division offices are still being validated according ti Philstar report.
