According to ABS-CBN News, the passenger bus with plate number UVC 916 “fell off the elevated part of Skyway” and “plunged into the west service road of the southbound lane of South Luzon Expressway (SLEx).”
A van with plate number ULX 874 “was crushed after the bus fell on top of it,” the report said. Two persons were reportedly inside the vehicle at the time. At least 18 people died on the spot while at least 8 others, including the bus driver identified as Carmelo Calascas, were reportedly rushed to various hospitals.
