Read the full text of the Board of Inquiry (BOI) report on the Mamasapano encounter, which was turned over to Secretary of the Interior and Local Government Mar Roxas this morning.
Earlier, as directed by President Aquino, the various agencies and offices of the government tasked with extending assistance to the bereaved families of the fallen SAF troopers have been continuing to carry out their role as swiftly as possible. Apart from monetary aid from the President’s Social Fund, the national government has also been providing support in the form of scholarships, employment assistance, housing grants, among others.
Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas officially received on Friday the signed copy of the report of the Board of Inquiry (BOI) on the Mamasapano incident.
