Meet the Philippines Ice Hockey Team- Philippines Mighty Ducks

Get to know the members of Philippine Ice Hockey Team. The team participated at the 2017 Asian Winter Games which was their first official tournament. They participated at the Division II of the ice hockey tournament. The team was captained by Steven Füglister underwent a seven-month training which started on July 2016 prior to the competition.

Dubbed "The Mighty Ducks" after the 1992 Disney film, the Philippine men's ice hockey team is the First Ever Gold Medal winner in SEA Games.

The Filipinos showed "pusong palaban" and team play in beating the Indonesias (12-0), the Singaporeans, 7-2, before beating the host Malaysia, 2-1 early Thursday eventually defeating Thailand 5-4 in the finals
