WATCH: With shopping as one of the favorite modern-day pastime of
Filipinos, the Department of Tourism and SM Supermalls launched the
campaign, "Malling is More Fun in the Philippines".
Filipinos are known to love going to Malls. When I was in Dubai, every time I will go to Deira City Center, you can feel at home because you will meet a lot of Filipinos roaming in Carrefour and every corner of the mall.
Here in the Philippines when you go to any mall it's an almost full capacity even on Weekdays, especially at the Food Courts and Cinemas.
The most popular chain of malls in the Philippines is SM and Robinsons. Whenever there's SM Mall in one area, opposite or adjacent is Robinsons Mall or vice versa.
