DITO's market reach is getting broader with the new launch of the DITO Roaming Sim. DITO Data is getting lots of good reviews, especially with regards to playing online Games like MLBB as they experience zero lag experience. I am a DITO user since 2020 because if you buy a package data of 199 for 25GB you can use the remaining data and carry over to the next month if you buy t a new data package before the expiration.
What is DITO ROAM Mate:
DITO ROAM Mate is DITO’s hassle-free roaming service that gives you affordable options for data, call, and text promo packs when flying out of the country.
You need to activate the service via the DITO APP to enjoy access to calls, outgoing SMS, and data. Make sure your DITO APP is updated to see all the available promos. Incoming SMS is already pre-activated for all mobile prepaid subscribers. However, make sure that you have at least P1.00 load when activating the service.
Follow these steps for easy activation:
- Log in to your DITO APP.
- Click “More” in the dashboard.
- Click the “DITO Roaming” icon under the Prepaid Services Menu.
- You will be redirected to the DITO Roaming page.
- Select your destination and click the “Activate Roaming” tab.
- You will receive successful activation notifications via SMS and in-app.
You can also activate the service using the DITO APP Live Chat feature.
- Click the “Chat with us icon” under Help & Support.
- Click “DITO Prepaid Roaming” from the list of options.
- Click “ACTIVATION – Roam on.”
- You will receive successful activation notifications via SMS and in-app.
If you are a new subscriber, make sure to activate your SIM in the Philippines to enjoy DITO’s services. To activate your SIM, simply make your first call, send an SMS, or turn on your mobile data.
Please note that you will not be able to receive incoming SMS and activate the roaming service abroad if your SIM has not yet been activated.
