Creamline's opposite hitter, Michelle Gumabao has been on fire during the Semi-Finals their semi-finals match against F2 in the Premiere Volleyball League's, All-Filipino Conference 2023. Michelle Gumabao is currently the number attacker in he league. During their first game last Saturday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig and telecast live on One Sports plus and with delayed telecast on One Sports, Michelle tallied 21 points with 20 attacks and 1 block.
When Alyssa Valdez is still not injured, Michelle Gumabao became a second stringer on the Creamline Team since Tots Carlos is playing the same position she occupies. However, since Alyssa Valdez cannot play during this conference, Tots Carlos filled-up here position and Michelle Gumabao played on the first six as Opposite Hitter.
Gumabao has been a steady and reliable attacker from the Creamline's side. With Jia Morado de Guzman as their playmaker and currently the Captain of the Team, all the first six of the Creamline except the libero might get the MVP Awards. And for this Conference, although Tots Carlos is equally deserving of the MVP Title, I would pick for Michelle Gumabao to take the award. Creamline will have to wait between the winner of the other semi-fina match between PLDT Power Hitters and Petro Gazz Angels on theri do-or-die match on Thursday, March 23. The first game of the finals will be on Sunday, March 26.
