Is PureGold Scam for Real?

Just in time to what I experienced yesterday in PureGold Banga, Meycauayan. I bought a few items together with Purefoods, and Tender Juicy Hotdog and paid P629.80 for the total items I bought. So I brought first the items to our office since our office is just near the establishment. After office hours, I went home together with the groceries only to find out that the Purefoods Hotdog was missing. I tried to search my apartment which is only 20 sq m. in Area and really cannot find the item. Then I looked at the receipt and the item "PF TJ HDG" worth P75 is present on the receipt. I could only hope it is an isolated case.

And today while browsing the Facebook wall, I saw someone who posted about a possible scam. The customer said that she saw on the receipt an item costing about P385.00 when she is certain that she didn't buy any item with such a price tag. Kindly read her full post:

Share ko lang po yung na experience ko and also for public awareness. Hindi ko alam kung sa akin lang nangyari to..That was five days ago..Nag-grocery Ako sa Puregold and upon checking the receipt, napansin ko yung Isang item with the price of P385.00..So, I checked all the items I bought  and found out wala po talaga akong biniling ganung item with the price of P385..Yes! I went back to Puregold for further queries and talked with the customer service in-charge...Eto Yung convo namin

Ako: Ano? Anong ghost item? Ang Alam ko sa government offices lang may ghost, may ghost employee
Si Ate: Ma'am pasensya na po talaga..Kakatukin ko na lang Po Yang mga cashier..Hindi Po Kase silA nagche-check..Kuha na lang Po ulet kayo Ng ibang item Ma'am para mapalitan..

Hindi na Ako nakipag-usap Ng matagal sa kanya Kase Alam ko mag-iinit  ako at makakapagsalita lang Ako Ng Hindi maganda.
Ang sa akin lang matagal Ng nangyayari to at baka hindi Alam Ng lahat na may ganito palang "secret" Ang Puregold..So Hindi natin Alam ninanakawan na pala Tayo
Lesson: Yung Hindi ko talaga ugaling mag-check Ng receipt everytime na maggo-grocery , ngayon Gagawin ko na

However, one of the comments said that it usually happened in weighted items. and might be due to a technical error and PureGold Management has nothing to do with such a mistake. Your thought about this?
