Filipino have Below Average IQ according to Wisevoter

According to Wisevoter, here are the top 10 countries with the highest average IQ in the world. The Philippines is considered below average, scoring only an average of 81.64 and ranked at number 106 among nations. The top six Countries are from Asia with Japan being at Number 1 with an average of 106.48 IQ followed by Taiwan with 106.47, Singapore at third place with 105.89 IQ and Hongkong and China at number 5 and 6 respectively.

IQ is a type of standard score that indicates how far above, or how far below, his/her peer group an individual stands in mental ability. The peer group score is an IQ of 100; this is obtained by applying the same test to huge numbers of people from all socio-economic strata of society, and taking the average acccording to mensa.org.

The IQ score can be calculated with the formula of IQ = (intelligence age/actual age) x100. On many tests, a score of 100 is considered the average IQ. Sixty-eight percent of scores fall within one standard deviation of the mean (that is, between 85 and 115). That means that nearly 70% of all people score within plus or minus 15 points of the average score.
