The opening ceremony for the games will be held on 5 May 2023, however due to the tight schedule, the cricket and football tournaments will commence one week earlier, on 29 April 2023.

Ahead of the official opening, Team Philippines stands at 2nd place in the 32nd SEA Games official Medal Tally with 2 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals as of 9:00 AM, 5 May 2023.

Alyssa Valdez will again carry the country’s colors during the parade of athletes of the Cambodia 32nd Southeast Asian Games opening ceremony on Friday at the 60,000-seat Morodok Techo Stadium in Phnom Penh.
