There is no need to download the PC games to play it on your mobile devices as you only need to install Remotr to stream your PC games on your mobile devices.
How do I get started?
- Download and install Remotr Streamer on your PC computer.
- Register an account using your email address and a password (do not use the same as to your email account) and log in on the Streamer.
- Install Remotr on Android, iPhone/iPad or another computer with Windows 10. You can find Remotr application on your platform applications store.
- Log in on client application with the same email and password as on the Streamer.
- Now you can stream PC games to your mobile, TV or another computer!
How do I play 2-4 player games with Remotr?With Remotr you can play games that support up to 4 players. To do so, follow these steps:
- Install Remotr on your PC and your mobile device, and create an account (see ‘How do I get started’).
- Make sure all your friends have Remotr installed on their mobile as well, of course.
- Connect to your PC, choose the game you want to play, and start it.
- Now have your friends connect to the same streamer as you (they’ll need to use the same email and password as you).
How do I play games over the Internet?
- To connect with Remotr and play your computer games no matter where you are, you need to setup port forwarding on your router. Make sure that TCP port 8193 is forwarded to the computer that has Remotr installed, and you will be able to connect to it no matter where you are, or how your mobile device is connected to the Internet.
Can I connect my Xbox, PlayStation 4 or Android gamepad controller?
Of course you can! All you have to do is connect your gamepad to your mobile device and you are set to go - Remotr sets up the controls automatically, and you don’t have to do anything. Please note that with PlayStation 4 controllers, bluetooth connections aren’t supported at the moment, and you will need to connect it to your mobile device via USB OTG.
How do I add a game manually?
If your game wasn’t automatically detected by Remotr, all you need to do is double click the Remotr Streamer icon in your computer’s system tray to open the Remotr Streamer, and click ‘Show games list’. Then click ‘Add game manually’, and browse to the location of your game’s executable file. If you still can’t see the game in the Remotr mobile app, shut down the desktop app, and close the mobile app, then restart both of them.
Do you support streaming to my VR headset?
Not at the moment, although we are working hard on our VR version, and expect it to come out in the near future.

If you connect to Remotr and see a black screen, but are still able to control your mouse movements using your device’s touch screen, there’s something wrong with the game’s video feed. If it happens with a specific game, send us the name of the game and your system specs to support@remotrapp.com. If it happens with all games, please click the Remotr Streamer icon in your computer’s system tray, and click ‘Send bugs and feedback’ to automatically send us your Remotr log files.
