August 30 is a Marcelo H. del Pilar Day and Holiday in Bulacan. However, earlier Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando issued on Friday, August 11, a memorandum declaring August 15, Bulacan’s 445th Foundation Day, as a special working holiday instead of a Holiday and mentioned that there is a policy for having 2 Special Non-Working Holiday on each Local Government.
According to the Filipino Scribe, the Philippines will be commemorating the 173rd birth anniversary of Spanish-era journalist and hero Marcelo del Pilar this coming August 30, 2023. The day, which this year falls on Wednesday, is a special non-working holiday in Bulacan as declared by Republic Act 7449.
But then again, it might be declared as a Working Holiday by the local government of Bulacan.
