Alas Pilipinas vs India- AVC Challenge Cup 2024 Live

 Alas Pilipinas will go up against India tonight at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum, 7:00 PM Philippine Time. You can watch the game live online at Pilipinas Live app. The game will also be broadcast in One Sports and One Sports+. Yesterday Alas Pilipinas won their first game against Australia in four sets. The Philippines is grouped in Pool A and favorite to win against Chinese Taipei, India and Iran. In the other side of the bracket are teams from Vietnam, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Singapore and Hong Kong.

The Philippines lost the first set and bounced back in second set with an impact substitution of  ADMU and now Cignal's Vanie Gandler. The Captain, Jia Morado proved to be the best setter as her connections with her spikers seemed to have been developed in just a matter of few days of preparation. Angel Canino of DLSU played as opposite spiker was named as the player of the game.

NU's Bella Belen and Alyssa Solomon were initially part of the pool, but begged of due to minor injury, as confirmed by National University coach Norman Miguel.

Inquirer.net reported that the winner of the tournament will qualify for the 2024 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Challenger Cup.
