 How much is Maya's Convenience fee foe every transaction?

The convenience fee covers the costs associated when you cash in through our over-the-counter channels. It is always 2% of the total amount you cashed in.

But if the total amount you cashed in for the month does not exceed the ₱8,000 monthly threshold, you’ll get the 2% convenience fee you paid credited back to your Maya account as rebate.

For example, if your total cash in amount for the month reaches ₱9,000, you’ll receive a rebate for the first ₱8,000.

This means you’ll receive a total rebate worth ₱160—which is 2% of ₱8,000.

To check if you were charged the correct amount, just follow these simple steps:

1. Wait for the total cash in amount to be credited to your Maya account
2. Check your in-app Transactions list
3. Look for your latest cash in transaction

You’ll find the convenience fee you were charged listed along with the amount you cashed in.

Please take note that the convenience fee is always 2% of the total cash in amount. So, to determine the total convenience fee you need to pay you can use the following formula:

TOTAL CASH IN AMOUNT x 0.02 = CONVENIENCE FEE
