PHL Smart Gilas beats by Iran, 78-59 on Jones Cup 2011 Semi-Finals

Philippine Smart Gilas was beaten by Iran on the Semi-Final of Jones Cup 2011. During the opening Game last week, the Smart Gilas beat the same team, though it's a different story now.

Smart Gilas Pilipinas faced a different Iran team in the semifinals of the 33rd William Jones Cup to drop a 78-59 decision against the two-time defending champions on Saturday at the Hsinjhuang Stadium in New Taipei City, Taiwan. 

The Finals will be on Sunday-August 14, 2011 at the same venue.

Korea, Philippines Iran and Chinese Taipei qualified for the 2011 Jones Cup Semi-Finals, Philippines finished second and there will battle it oujt against Iran which is in third place. While South Korea will fit against the fourth finisher Chinese Taipei.
