Philippine Smart Gilas will be fitted against Chinese Taipe on the quartefinals of the 2011 FIBA Asia Championship- (Olympic Qualifier) being held in Wuhan, China from September 15-25. Smart Gilas Pilipinas overcame a listless first half, cranking up in the last two quarters to hurdle Syria, 75-52, and clinch second place in their group in the elimination round of the 26th FIBA Asia Championship here tonight.
