Gilas, fresh from a morale-boosting 95-78 quarterfinal win over Chinese Taipei, will play the South Korea in the battle for the bronze.
The country's dream of earning a berth in the 2012 London Olympics ended Saturday as Gilas dropped a 75-61 decision against Jordan in the semifinals of the 26th FIBA-Asia Championship For Men at the Wuhan gymnasium in China.
Jordan, which avenged its sorry 72-64 loss to Gilas in the second round, was led by Rasheim Wright's 24 points.
