US President Barack Obama hosted David Beckham, Landon Donovan and the Major League Soccer champion Los Angeles Galaxy at the White House Tuesday, May 15.
Beckham, 37, led the Los Angeles team to victory over Houston Dynamo in November and had to endure a few jokes about his age during a press conference with Obama.
The President quipped, “I gave David a hard time; I said that half his teammates could be his kids! We’re getting old, David. In fact, you’re holding up better than me.”
