Waorld  No. 3, Rafael Nadal defeated No. 1 Novak Djokovic in the Italian Open final delayed until Monday due to rain. The victory puts him back up to No. 2 in the world and guarantees his No. 2 seed position at next week’s French Open.

Rafael Nadal beat Novak Djokovic 7-5, 6-3 to win the Italian Open for a record sixth time.

And though Nadal has regained his footing in the superlative rivalry, he still has to prove he can beat Djokovic in a Grand Slam again.
