Video- Super Moon on May 25

The biggest and brightest full moon of the year arrived Saturday night as Earth's celestial neighbor passed about 15,000 miles closer to Earth than average. That has made the moon appear bigger than usual. (May 5).

The 'super Moon' lights up the night sky in a once-a-year cosmic show. The Moon seemed especially big and bright since it reached its closest spot to Earth at the same time it was in its full phase.
