Here's the William Jones Cup 2012 Live Update, Schedule and Results! Last year, SMART-Gilas, coached by Rajko Toroman and led by Douthit, finished third in the Jones Cup. The team played nine games in nine days, winning six, as part of its preparation for the 2011 FIBA Asia Championship.
I think we have a solid chance of making it all the way to nail the Championship. I look forward to this tournament even though this is a minor one.
Coach, Chot Reyes will handle the National Team for the first time since 2007. Reyes is at the helm of the Philippine National Basketball team. The final line up has been announced and it looks good on paper but we all know that the actual game and statistics more important thing to watch.

Aug 21 – Philippines vs South Korea- Philippine Smart Gilas 2 wins over S.Korea in 2012 William Jones Cup 82-79.
Aug 22 – Philippines vs Japan- Smart Gilas 2.0 Pilipinas defeated Japan after trailing for most of the game. The nationals showed a plenty of heart in the 4th quarter as it pulled off a victory over Japanese players, 88-84, in the William Jones Cup 2012 being held on Wednesday, August 22, in Taipei, Taiwan. Aug 23 – Philippines vs Lebanon- Lebanon brought Smart Gilas to school with a harrowing 91-72 rout yesterday that snapped the Nationals’ unbeaten run in the 34th Jones Cup and dealt the Phl side with a severe blow on its morale as it plays Iran today.
